WHOLE FOODS MARKET HOSTS PET FOOD COLLECTION TO BENEFIT PETS IN NEED
Ridgewood market collection will serve the Ridgewood Social Services & Vicinity Inc.
BERGEN COUNTY, N.J. (OCTOBER 19, 2010) – Companion Animal Advocates, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Bergen County, is partnering with the Ridgewood location of Whole Foods Market to host a pet food drive. Companion Animal Advocates is collecting pet food and treats, for dogs and cats, and will be collected at the Whole Foods Market located at 44 Godwin Avenue in Ridgewood from Monday, October 25th through Monday November 8th.
“This pet food drive is a way we can help low income residents keep their pets,” says Ho-Ho-Kus resident and Vice President of Companion Animal Advocates, Christine McIndoe. “This collection helps ease some of the financial stress that these residents might be experiencing due to the cost of pet care.”
