Companion Animal Advocates (CAA) has initiated the “STOP LITTERING” campaign to inform pet owners of both the importance of spaying and neutering their pets, as well as creating a resource that makes the procedure affordable for all NJ pet owners.  CAA can assist you to have your pet spayed or neutered for a reduced cost, or possibly at no cost – to you – at all.

HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS:

1. Simply complete the Stop Littering Application and forward it to CAA as outlined in the application.

2. CAA will contact you, as soon as possible to discuss the program option that you qualify for, and how to proceed with an appointment.

STOP LITTERING PROGRAM CERTIFICATE OPTIONS:

I. CAA No Fee Certificate Program: Pet owners, that are NJ residents with pets under 7 years of age, that receive assistance through CAA’s Feed-A-Pet Program administered through the Center for Food Action, qualify for a free spay/neuter voucher, supplied by CAA, with the surgery performed at the People For Animals Spay/Neuter Clinic located in Hillside, NJ. This option is also available to NJ senior citizens and pet owners who have adopted through Home2Home (a CAA program).

II. CAA Partial Fee Certificate Program: Pet owners, that are NJ residents with pets under 7 years of age, can purchase a certificate through CAA, which can be utilized at the People for Animals Spay/Neuter Clinic located in Hillside, NJ. This certificate will allow the pet owner to obtain services at a 50% discount off the already low PFA fees.  This program is subject to financial qualifications.  Proof of an annual income less than $100K will need to be provided with the application.
